When you make a booking or contact us, we collect the information you provide, such as:

• First and last name
• Email address and phone number
• Country
• Dietary restrictions or special requests you share with us
• The tour, date, time, and guest details of your booking
• Payment-related transaction identifiers and status (never your full card number — see "Payment Processing" below)

We use this information to:

• Create, confirm, and manage your booking
• Send you booking confirmation, cancellation, refund, and rescheduling emails
• Plan your tour experience, including accommodating dietary needs where reasonably possible
• Respond to questions or requests you send us directly

Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects and stores your payment card details directly — Vallarta Footprints never receives or stores your full card number. We keep only the transaction and payment-status information (such as amount and whether payment succeeded) needed to confirm and manage your booking.

We use Resend, a transactional email delivery service, to send booking-related emails such as confirmations, cancellations, and refund notices.

We share information only with the service providers needed to run our booking system:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Supabase — secure database hosting for our booking records

Each provider only receives the information necessary to perform its function for us.

We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on this site. The only cookie this site sets is a secure, essential session cookie used to keep our own administrator logged in to our internal booking system — it is not used to track visitors or customers. Stripe may set its own cookies as part of processing your payment securely, governed by Stripe’s own privacy policy.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

We keep booking information for as long as reasonably necessary to manage your booking and to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
